Description
The Ghars Well, also known as Bir Ghars, is a historic site in Islamic history, linked to the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Located in the blessed city of Medina, close to the Quba Mosque and the garden of Salman Al Farsi, the Ghars well is famous for the freshness of its water and its close association with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a special affection for the Ghars well, and it is reported that he regularly drank from its water and performed his ablutions here.
The well has recently been restored by the Ministry of Culture, enabling visitors to discover this historic site in optimal conditions.
