Description
Discover the 7 Mosques of Medina, a complex of historic mosques located on the western side of the Sala’ mountain in the sacred city of Medina. These mosques, also known as the Saba Masjid, have significant historical importance in Islam and are associated with the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq).
Each mosque in the complex is named after blessed companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and features unique architecture and special historical significance. The first mosque in the complex, the Al Fath Mosque, takes its name from the victory (Fath) in the Battle of the Trench.
Discover the Salman Al Farsi Mosque, named after the Sahabah Salman Al Farsi (RA), who led the construction of the trench during the battle. Also explore the Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) Mosque, the Umar ibn Khattab Mosque, the Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque, and the Fatima Al Zahra Mosque, each associated with honorable companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings upon him).
This visit will allow you to immerse yourself in Islamic history, relive the events of the Battle of the Trench, and feel the spirituality of these holy places.
