Visit to Quba – Explanation of the battle of Uhud and visit to the martyrs’ site – Visit to the ghar wells – Visit to the Daar al madinah museum
Program :
The third day is devoted to studying the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). A religious sitting is organized to discuss the outstanding events of his life, his exceptional moral qualities, and the teachings he left to the Muslim community.
You will then have the opportunity to visit the Quba Mosque, the first mosque built by the Prophet (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and his companions after their arrival in Medina. The Prophet (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever performs ablutions at home, then goes to the Quba mosque and prays there, obtains the reward of an Umrah” (reported by Ibn Majah). This mosque is a place of great blessing and spiritual merit.
The program continues with a visit to the site of the Battle of Uhud, where the Prophet (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) led the Muslims against the Quraysh. You’ll visit the Martyrs’ Cemetery, where many of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, are buried, including Hamza ibn Abdul-Muttalib, nicknamed “the Lion of Allah”. This place is a powerful reminder of the sacrifice of the first Muslims for Islam.
The day also includes a visit to the Ghars wells, which were used by the companions to quench their thirst, bearing witness to living conditions at the time.
The day ends with a visit to the Daar al-Madinah museum, which traces the history of Medina from pre-Islamic times to the modern era. You’ll discover models and reconstructions of key events in the life of the Prophet (salla Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).
