It only takes a few minutes to complete the application form. Minors must travel with an adult. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of arrival in Saudi Arabia.

Since the end of 2019, Saudi Arabia has introduced the electronic visa (e-Visa) for four travel reasons: tourism, events, visiting relatives or pilgrimage (Umrah only). This electronic visa is available for 57 nationalities, including most Schengen Area countries, the USA, Canada and the UK. It allows stays of 1 to 90 days per year (90 days maximum per year).

During the month of Hajj, the Saudi Arabia e-Visa is not valid for arriving in Jeddah or Medina. In 2024, e-Visas will not be valid for arriving in Medina or Jeddah. Other entry points remain accessible.
